No casualties have been reported from the incident as there was noone inside at the time of the attack.
The Council of American Islamic Relations has announced that it will give a reward of 10 thousand dollars to whoever becomes instrumentail in the capturing of the assailant. The Council has drawn attention to the Sikh temple attack and has called for increased police protection for all worship places across the country.
The attacked mosque called Joplin was again the target of an assailant in July. The security cameras showed a person throwing an inflammable object onto the roof of the mosque and fleeing the scene.
The assailant still at large has prompted the officials to probe into any possible link between the two incidents
