The number of Syrian nationals fleeing the violence in Syria has reached 18 thousand. Turkish troops are receiving the Syrians and taking them to the camps they will be accomodated.
Meanwhile, about 30 Syrians, who were wounded in clashes in the past week, were taken under treatment in hospitals in Hatay. Tent camps are monitored with security cameras 24 hours a day.
Syrians staying in tent cities in Hatay are transferred to Gaziantep and Kilis provinces. The number of Syrians sent to Islahiye district of Gaziantep reached 3 thousand.
On the other hand, about 10 Syrian families who crossed into Turkey returned to their countries later in the evening.
Minister for Customs and Trade Hayati Yazıcı said work is underway to find alternative routes after transit trade from Syria was affected negatively.
