50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT

In a message he sent to Haşim Kılıç, President of the Constitutional Court , Prime Minister Erdoğan stressed the importance of justice. He said that as everybody knew and believed, justice is as much the foundation of the state as it is the requisite of social peace, prosperity and stability and sustainable development.

No one can speak about progress in a society where justice is not felt inherently, Erdoğan said, adding that there was strong belief in the society that the Constitutional Court tasked with monitoring the compliance of laws with the Constitution was going to make further contributions for our judicial system to strengthen and reach a more democratic and advanced level.
