The People's Assembly the powers of which were taken over by the military council has convened in line with the President's instructions defying the military decision.

The parliamentary session which opened with Speaker Saad eKetatni's speech lasted five minutes.

The speaker said that the problem should be resolved in line with the principles of rule of law and separation of forces.

The MPs have accepted the Speaker's proposal to appeal the Constitutional Court ruling.
