He recalled his visit last week to the container town in Kilis where the Syrians who have fled the Al Assad regime were accommodated and said the Syrian people complained of the EU being indifferent to what the Al Assad regime was doing.
Bağış said there was a hectic traffic of meetings and consultations in Ankara in the wake of the downing of the Turkish aircraft, adding that Turkey was aware of what it was doing, that Turkey was a big and powerful country and that it was yet to make its final statement on the incident.
He also said it was not a crisis between Turkey and Syria but an international issues having EU, NATO and United Nations dimensions.
