AID ACTIVITIES FOR MYANMAR

The masscres of innocent Muslims in Arakan region has moved Ankara. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Mrs. Emine Erdoğan and daughter Sümeyye Erdoğan will leave for Arakan tomorrow.The bloodshed and tears in Arakan is drawing a reaction from the whole Muslim World. While several institutions and organizations from Turkey have extended a helping hand to Arakan Directorate of Religious Affairs and Turkish Red Crescent Society are also in the circuit.

The details related to aid activities were announced by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan himself. Erdoğan said the tyranny lived by Arakan Muslims is in question. We are making our efforts regarding this issue. Religious Affairs and Red Crescent Society are involved in these efforts. I am thankful to my people who have rendered their support.

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Mrs. Emine Erdoğan and daughter Sümeyye Erdoğan will take the collected aid to the region by themselves. Turkey has also made a move for the Muslims who have taken a refuge in Bangladesh after escaping violence in Myanmar and arranged a visit for UN institutions to Arakan.
