Çağlayan met Kyrgyzstan Economy and Competition Policies Minister Temir Sariev in his office in Ankara. The two ministers agreed that their countries' economic relations were moving toward the level of an advanced level of strategic cooperation.
Çağlayan said the trade volume between the two countries jumped from 41 million dollars ten years ago to 232 million dollar increasing six fold in the meantime and would certainly exceed 300 million dollars before the year was out.
The guest minister Sariev called on Turkish investors to do business in his country and cited telecommunications, mining and energy as the most convenient fields for investment.
