Salihi qualified as successful the first round of talks held in Istanbul with the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany and said the Iranian side was going to sit at the negotiations table in the second round of talks in Baghdad with the intention of settling the problem.

He said that if there was good will, Tehran was ready to resolve all problems rapidly and easily.

The Iranian National Supreme Security Council Secretary General and chief negotiator at the nuclear talks Said Celili has also said that Iran is ready for cooperation for the destruction and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.

Experts say that Tehran has started sending out more flexible signals regarding its nuclear programme after the meeting in Istanbul.
