Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu who returned from a short visit to the north of Iraq yesterday met Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the chief of the Turkish intelligence Hakan Fidan.
The meeting at the Prime Minister's official residence took place at about midnight.
Davutoğlu shared his impressions of his visit to the regional administration in the north of Iraq with the Prime Minister.
The chief of the Turkish intelligence service was also present at the meeting.
Davutoğlu gave an account of his visits to Irbil and Kirkuk and his talks with the regional administrators.
Syria and the issue of terror were taken up for hours at the midnight meeting of the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister and the Chief of the Intelligence Service.
