In a speech he delivered in the capital Cairo, Morsi said Egypt was going to be re-built with faith and democracy and Islamic law would be the lifeblood of legislation.
Morsi said further that the Koran had not been revealed only to be recited and listened to and stressed that if it were to be translated into li1fe, not only Muslims but also non-Muslims would find a solution to their problems.
Morsi said that the enemy never slept and called on Egyptians to be in solidarity and act like a single heart to support one another.
