The imam of the mosque, Yusuf Ibram, said the attack came at a time when the security officer of the mosque was at prayers. Stating that this is the third offense in the month of November, Ibram reminded that previously, somebody shouted prayers before the proper time from a car equipped with speakers drawing past the mosque and somebody had stone the mosaics on the outer walls of the mosque.
Next month, construction of minarets to mosques in Switzerland will be put to referendum. Polls reveal that more than 51 percent of the Swiss are against banning minarets. |
