The think tank named Strategic and International Studies Center has warned US President Barack Obama regarding the 1915 incidents in a report drawing attention to the US-Turkey relations.
The report said that if President Obama did not act to stop the Armenian resolution in the US House of Representatives or if he used the notion of "genocide" the Turkish response would be stern and a bad era would be started in the relations.
The report has suggested that the rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia should be supported and appreciated.
In the European Union section of the report it has been underscored that the consequences of any failed membership negotiations with the European Union will be negative, fierce and far-flung.
Meanwhile a group of US Congressmen has written a letter to the presidents of Turkey and Armenia saying that they are ready to contribute to the development of their bilateral relations.
